1/08/30 EC's letter to [
5580]:
Mr. [
5580]
..., Ave.
Dayton, Ohio
Dear Mr. [
5580]:-
I am just in receipt of yours of the 4th. I do not know but
one way, Mr. [
5580], to insure your getting the information
you desire any time in the near future, and that would be
for you to come to Virginia Beach. As I said, it has been
decided as the best policy NOT to make appointments for
business readings. As set forth in the purpose of the
Association by Mr. Blumenthal, it IS the purpose to be of
help, physically and mentally, to just as many of its members
as possible. Under the circumstances, we are limited,
owing to the inability of our channel of information to
work any faster, and we feel that the physical should have
preeminence, inasmuch as the hospital has been established
to take care of the conditions and to give the demonstrations
necessary to determine that we are at least working along the
proper lines. We HAVE, however, made it a rule also, that
where members show their faith and confidence by coming to
the institution immediately, they are given preference. This
is possibly beggaring the question. The circumstances, we
hope, justify it. If we can be of service, we would like
to. What is your decision?
Trusting we may hear from you, I am
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce EC:GD
