This psychic reading given by Edgar Cayce at his office, 115 West 35th Street, Virginia Beach, Va., this 28th day of May, 1929, in accordance with request made by his wife and son.

Present: Edgar Cayce; Mrs. Cayce, Conductor; Gladys Davis, Steno. [5618]'s wife [760] and Mr. Linden Shroyer.

TEXT

  1. EC: Yes, we have the body, Dr. [5618] here. This we have had before. Now, we find the physical conditions are not so good as that when we had them here before. The continued reaction through those suppressions in the upper dorsal plexus continue to allow the fullness of the circulation to remain in the pulmonary and heart's force, and thus produce the shortening of breath and the continued pressure forces as engorgement of same.
  2. To relieve the pressure we would, as given, use the OSTEOPATHIC manipulations to raise the pressure and to so stimulate the whole heart's action in the system through the BLOOD supply, rather than of the ORGAN itself; for the activity of the blood is enhanced through the amount of iron the blood carries, that the oxygen is in same, for these - having an affinity one for another - gives more, with the increased amount of this condition in system. Hence those properties as were given. Also the LACK of the ACIDS in system, that do deter the action of the oxygen on the blood supply, see? Do that, and we will find we will bring relief for this body. Ready for questions.

    (A) An osteopath doctor!
  4. (Q) Would Dr. Richardson of Norfolk be the best?
    (A) If he would give them like we have given here for them to be given! Anyone that will give them in the way as has been outlined!
  5. (Q) Should the prescription as given last time still be taken?
    (A) Hasn't it just been said so?
  6. (Q) Has the mental attitude of the body any effect on same?
    (A) Sure!
  7. (Q) Any further suggestions?
    (A) Do this as we have outlined, in the MANNER as outlined, and we will find relief for the body.
