Dear Mr. Cayce:-
It has been about thirty days since I received the Psychic
Reading given on the 22nd day of August. I shall request
that another reading be given me and suggest that it be given
as early as possible in order to check up on the improvement.
I was unable to locate the Radio Active appliance, however,
yesterday I was given a Chicago address, and to this I have
written. The reading said that thirty days would find the
body more physically fit, would the body follow the
suggestions. Of course I have failed on account of the
appliance. All other suggestions were followed closely.
Strange to say, just receiving the reading made me feel
better mentally and I believe the exercises and diet were
beneficial, but I would like to learn if the appliance is
still helpful and shall I continue with the instructions.
It was strange that the Reading dealt with "Connections" only
tho I had many other financial things in mind. But upon
reflection "Connection" is really the only important thing.
Other things go on from there.
I was glad for "As we find, the body - mentally - is well
fitted and prepared" and so on.
I immediately went to work on the firms mentioned.
Hardly any of the firm styles could be located in the city
directories of the cities mentioned, neither could they in
Bradstreet's. However, I persisted and inquired through the
banks.
I am informed that the Gulfport Shipping Co. were liquidated
in 1913 and was succeeded by the Gulfport Towing Co., whose
stock is owned by Mrs. Grace Jones Stewart, by inheritence
and that Mr. J. H. Beeman is in charge of her affairs in
Gulfport. I have written to each of these. Mr. Beeman says
there is no opening.
It may be the estate needs attention. I haven't heard from
Mrs. Stewart.
"Southern Refinery Co., Shreveport, La. could not be located,
however, I find Great Southern Producing and Refining
Company's Treasurer and Manager, Mr. Hungate had recently
resigned and that the business had been conducted by a
committee. I have written to this committee but have not had
answer.
"National Finance Co"., could not be located but I have
written to the National Mortgage Co., and to the Finance Co.
of America both in Baltimore. The first has disclaimed any
opening and the second had not answered.
The "Atlantic Gulf & West Indies Shipping Company" have no
offices in the cities mentioned but a holding company of
practically this name have their general office in New York,
and one of their subsidiaries - the Clyde Line has offices in
the places named. I have written to the New York Office.
They have not answered yet.
This is all interesting and intriguing to me. All of these
leads have something.
Now, at the time I had builded on returning to The Cuban
American Sugar Co., virtually with a promise, but I now
consider that as impractical.
Were I able to visit you I would like to ask questions and I
would ask that the conductor do this for me if possible.
Questions suggested: - Are there any openings of importance
in the sugar world, and would I be benefitted or happy in
them. Say - Manager of an estate of that would lead to such
position shortly. - What further would the body do relative
to the Gulfport, Shreveport and Baltimore leads. Please
describe the work to be done.
Physically - I would like to know if I am still to be
benefitted by the appliance.
I enclose blank filled and check as required.
If you can help me promptly, wire date and I shall be here
Apartment 22, Saragassa, 221 N.E. 3rd St. Miami, Fla.
Yours truly, [
