TEXT

  1. EC: Yes. Now we have the body here, [5670], and we find conditions are improved throughout the physical forces of the body. There are still the stiffness and soreness through the lower limbs, and especially through the locomotary region. The body needs some changes in the application of the forces as will assist the body in ELIMINATING those conditions as cause or produce same within the body.
  2. Now, we would continue the manipulations as have been applied, gradually making these deeper - especially in the lower dorsal and lumbar region, also in the sacral region, first relaxing the body thoroughly with wet packs - heat - see? Then the treatments or the manipulations and adjustments made under these conditions.
  3. We would also add now medicinal properties to assist the body in gaining the proper vibratory rate for the renewed portions of system that are receiving incentive through nerve energy and blood supply through the portions of the system, to bring about a near normal condition, assisting the body to adjust itself through the eliminations and through the assimilation of the body as respecting those conditions as have troubled same. Following these closely, we will find we will bring about the nearer normal conditions for this body, and the physical body much easier from those tautnesses, tendencies of contraction as has existed with the body. Prepare these, in this manner: First we would take Wild Cherry Bark 4 ounces, with 8 ounces of distilled water. Reduce this by simmering, not boiling, to at least the half the quantity. Strain off. Then add 2 ounces of simple syrup, or preferably prepare in this manner: dissolve 2 ounces of beet sugar in 2 ounces or 2 1/2 ounces of distilled water - hot water. Add to solution and reduce to at least 3 fluid ounces, see? Then we would add:

      Syrup of Sarsaparilla Compound...........1/2 ounce,

      Tincture of Stillingia...................1/4 ounce,
      Elixir Calisaya..........................1/2 ounce,
      Essence of Sassafras Root.................40 minims,
10% solution Bromide of Potassium.........40 minims,
10% solution Iodide of Potassium..........20 minims,
      Tincture Capsici...........................2 minims.

Cut 1 dram Balsam of Tolu in 2 ounces grain alcohol and add to solution. Shake the solution together before the dose is taken, which should be half teaspoonful 4 times each day.
  4. Adhering to the diet much in the manner as has been outlined. We would take as much OUTDOOR exercise, or in the sunshine, as is possible. In the addition to the system of these properties there will come the necessity of the manipulation to be in accord with that which will give a better coordination between the upper and lower hepatic circulation, or much of the manipulation for liver - as is STIMULATED in the application of heat AND manipulation for the kidneys.
  5. Do that till the whole quantity of medicinal properties have been taken, and we will find much nearer the normal forces for this body, [5670]. Do that. We are through with this reading.
