Dear Ms. Thomas:
I am writing this letter not only to thank you, but to
educate those people who may suffer from what I've been
diagnosed with, polycythemia rubra vera.
About eighteen months ago I started feeling tired and had a
jittery feeling in my chest area. My face was also more
flushed than normal. I am 36 years old and have been in good
physical condition all my life. I do not drink or smoke and
have remained active in various sports. I felt something was
wrong, so I went to see my internist. I checked out fine,
but he drew blood and called me three days later. He
explained why I felt so tired. My red blood-cell count was
extremely high (polycythemia) so my heart was essentially
pumping thick blood and working hard. I was sent to see a
hematologist, and he thinned my blood over a period of time.
This thinning is called a phlabotomy and is done to reduce
the chances of getting a heart attack or stroke. Over the
months ahead the red cell blood count slowly crept back up to
the danger level. The specialist said I had polycythemia
rubra vera and the only thing he could do was to periodically
drain my blood. I asked him what the future held for me and
he replied, "You could live fifteen to twenty years longer,
but this usually develops into leukemia." That was the last
I saw of the hematologist.
Since receiving that distressing news, I've been educating
myself in natural ways of healing - getting to the root of
the problem rather than going for the quick fix. In a book
called "Get Well Naturally" the Cayce Foundation was
mentioned and I wrote a letter describing my problem. I
received a prompt response recommending spinal treatments
from an osteopath or chiropractor; also cleansing the system
through the use of herbs; and a series of colonic
irrigations. I was also sent copies of transcripts from
various "readings" given in similar cases.
I have been seeing a chiropractor three times a week now for
2 1/2 months. My x-rays revealed a number of subluxations in
my spine and neck. I've also been seeing an herbalist and
she has diagnosed yeast in my blood. I have been very
diligent in following instructions and haven't consumed any
sugar or yeast in over fifty days. I'm eating only healthful
food and getting my spinal problems corrected. I've been
feeling great - lots of energy and no more uneasiness in my
chest.
I'm going to stay with this program for another two months
before having my blood checked again. I'm hopeful that it
will be normal and will let you know the outcome.
I sincerely hope that whoever reads this letter will be
encouraged and stay focused on his/her personal road to good
health.
All the best,
Sincerely, Robert Baron
