IN THE NERVE SYSTEM, this the greater seat of the trouble,
for we find one of the principal causes of the existent
abnormal conditions produced by that which has been applied
to the system for the subjugation of the nerve systems,
and in this reaction there has been produced, with the
subluxation existent in the 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and in the
4th and 5th cervical, a condition that, in conjunction with
the increased pressure, produces, on the ganglions as are
branched from this portion of the body to the cerebrospinal
and sympathetic nerve system, this peculiar condition as
becomes existent along the spine, and the condition as is
existent in the eliminating organs from same, for, with
this overtaxed condition as is produced, when this spasmodic
condition exists between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal,
we have the surcharge of the plexus from this portion of the
body to the muscles and tissue of the UPPER portion of the
body, until they become almost rigid, and a reaction to
the lower portion from same, disturbing the stomach and
digestion, and, when reflections come from same, disturbing
the emunctories, especially of the liver. These becoming
overcharged, shows the effects through the kidneys. See
how these all come together? In this region, then, lies the
principal trouble, though there are many reflexes as are seen
from same.
IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, in the sensory
system, this reaction as exists from the tie-up in the
cerebrospinal and sympathetic, we often have that reaction
that is aggravating to the sensory organism. Hence
distresses come to eyes, to throat, to nasal cavities, and
the sensation over the whole body, as of being too full of
everything
In the throat, bronchials, larynx, these organically very
good.
Heart's action shows the effect of this condition as exists
in blood at times, and in the general nerve system.
The liver torpid in its activity, as a general condition, and
overactive at others, when there has been supplied that to
the system which acts directly with the emunctory forces of
same.
The congestion through the lower portion of the digestive
system and colon shows the effects of these various
conditions as have been brought to bear in the body.
Then, to overcome this condition, we would of necessity
have to correct through more than one means, to create an
equilibrium in the nerve system, in the blood supply, and in
the functioning of the organs as are deranged, as it were, by
this existent condition.
First, it would be necessary to correct, osteopathically,
chiropractically, or neuropathically, or all combined, that
condition as exists, especially, in the 3rd and 4th dorsal,
and in the 4th and 5th cervical, applying heat (wet heat) to
the body before such adjustments or manipulations were given
to correct this condition, for, with the releasing of the
tension, without proper adjustment, we have an overflow FROM
this plexus, both to the heart and to the digestive system,
with a contraction of the condition in the upper portion of
body.
Then we would give in the system that which will be as a food
for the nerve tissue, and for the system as is builded in
same through the ductless glands of the system. That as we
will find in Chloride of Gold with Soda, taking:
Chloride of Gold...............10 grains,
Distilled Water................15 ounces,
Soda (Bicarbonate of Soda).....30 grains.
The dose would be 3 to 5 drops in water twice each day.
After the manipulation or massage, we would apply, directly
after treating, that vibration found in the Violet Ray,
STRONG, especially across the cervical and the upper dorsal
region. This will necessitate at least 10 to 15 such
adjustments, reduced by heat first, and at least the full
quantity of the Gold, with the application of the Violet Ray
following each of the treatments by adjusting and massaging.
Do that.
The diet should be kept in accord with the rebuilding of
a cleansed blood system. Not over amount of meats. Fowl
or fish may be taken in small quantities. As much green
vegetable food as can be well taken by the body, never taking
too much acid with any of same. Little or no vinegar, then,
with any of the foods. Not too much sweets, but sufficient
to make palatable to the body.
We are through for the present.
BACKGROUND
6/01/26 Letter: "If it's the Lord's will I would like
to be well again."
6/19/26 "Mrs. [
310] told me about you."
REPORTS
8/26 Letter: "I have been going to Dr. Robinson, a
chiropractor. I am sure I am improving but it's slow, though
I'm sleeping good at night now. I did not get the violet
ray that Mr. Cayce spoke of. I don't feel that I can [afford
to] right now. You will hear from me again later."
9/21/26 Mrs. [
310]'s letter: "Mrs. [
5739] adopted me as her
chaperon nurse-friend or whatever else I may be called. Just
after hearing from you we began going regularly to Dr.
Robinson, chiropractor. We were both truly delighted until
last week. Now I am not supposed to be telling all this.
Still I feel that you should know it, hence the news. I
think Dr. R. purely made a great big blunder, but this I
shall never say aloud in ... [Ala.]. Mrs. [
5739] developed
quite a trouble on Thursday, he treated her twice that day,
saw her that night, and Friday morning her temperature jumped
from 102 degree to 105 degree. He did not seem alarmed but
went on to his office and naturally she had her medical
doctor and was in Room 232, ... Memorial Hospital by noon
Friday. Upon examination it was found that she had quite
a bit of pus in her kidneys. The treatments seem very
beneficial and I am delighted that she has improved
constantly since Saturday but only one real talk with her
has been really complete. Then she led me to believe she is
THROUGH with Dr. R. and I shall be so sorry if she cannot
really decide to carry out the reading, but at present I have
my doubts. Must say she was delighted with it, and seemed so
glad of a real avenue to health again, and thinks you so kind
and very thoughtful, too. Now all of this I really feel you
should know or I never would have told it. You may know this
is the first and last telling, and I am trying to do and say
the proper things to Mrs. [
5739]."
10/02/26 EC wrote Mrs. [
310] quoting Mr. [
2675]'s letter of
9/25/26 re. his experience with chiropractic and osteopathy
which led him to favor osteopathy. See under
2675-6 Reports.
4/14/33 Mrs. [
5739] obtained via Mrs. [
310] a
Mental-Spiritual reading for her daughter [
4926].
12/31/70 She wrote: "We are the aged ones. My husband will
be 89 the 17th of January. I am nearing 82... I cannot
remember the date or year when Mrs. [
310] talked me into a
Cayce reading (I was young and sick a lot with a kidney
ailment). I did not have the nerve to show the reading to
our doctor and during the years I have lost track of the
reading. Is there any way I could have a copy of the reading
and at what cost?"
2/16/71 GD's note: I sent her a copy of the reading and
wrote asking her for a report on her daughter [
4926]'s case.
