From this depth we will encounter a strata of hard lime,
changing again into the shale, after a depth of twenty to
twenty-two (20 to 22) feet, and then shale and lime near to
the seven fifty (750) feet, changing then to a strata of
heavier lime and continuing same to fifty-six (56) feet,
changing then to shale, muck, and lime, with some water - not
sufficient to give trouble. Then the strata of oil in the
nine seventy-five (975), and this production in THIS place
being almost eligible, for we strike then a strata of water,
with or just under same. Set the casing again in this. Then
(that is, in the lime that's just below, see?) we find the
constant change of the stratas of lime and shale, lime and
shale, in various depths, to near that of the eighteen
seventy-six (1876), where the oil will be found in the
seventy-five, seventy-six, seventy-eight, seventy-nine (75,
76, 78, 79), see? We find the production in this location
being near to that of twenty-two hundred (2200) barrels of
oil per day. Ready for questions.
