Mr. [

..., Florida
Dear Mr. [
943]:
I am just in receipt of yours of the 17th. We are getting
things in shape just as fast as possible. It certainly is
causing a great deal of delay on the part of a great many
people - but we are in hopes that we will be able to serve in
such a way and manner that we can better prepare ourselves to
serve more in a better way, by trying to help you all get
straightened out. I am in hopes you studied the information
that was gotten in the reading very carefully, for this being
conducted in the proper way and manner depends the success of
our undertaking.
I have, as you know, for a long time been very much
interested in the explorations for oil in Florida. I am
certainly very glad to know that the information as was
gotten checks up with the facts and figures as you have been
able to obtain from the operators. I certainly am in hopes
that we will be the means of furnishing the information that
will bring in the production in Florida - for I certainly
know what such conditions would mean to Florida. You haven't
HAD any rush yet!
While people are still clamoring for appointments, I think we
will be able to leave by the 31st or 1st, anyway. I'll wire
you, of course, before I leave, and let you know what time we
expect to arrive. Naturally, my wife and secretary have to
make some preparations before they can get off. I believe,
Mr. [
943], it will take close on to $500 for me to make the
trip. I can save considerable by buying round-trip tickets,
but this makes a pretty good outlay at first - but better in
the end. You will let me hear from you, and I will wire you
the day to expect us.
Asking that you remember me to Mr. [
2671], Mr. [
287] and Mr.
[
4825], and anticipating that we will have a wonderful
experience meeting, and hoping for success for all,
Sincerely, Edgar Cayce

Mr. Edgar Cayce
115 Thirty-fifth Street
Virginia Beach, Virginia
Dear Mr. Cayce:
Enclosed herewith $300.00 on part payment of your expenses to
Miami. I regret very much that I am unable at this time to
send the $500.00 as Mr. [
2671] has been away for a week or
ten days and we had a very heavy pay-roll here last week and
will have a rather large pay-roll for this week. Mr. [...]
will return about the end of this week or the first of next
week and we will arrange for the balance of the $500.00 when
you arrive.
I have two or three physical readings awaiting you and if you
will advise me about what day you will arrive I will arrange
for them to see you at any date you suggest.
With kindest personal regards.
Sincerely yours, [
